Ira Sorkin, Bernard Madoff’s Attorney Talks to Capacity Crowd
On April 7, Ira Lee Sorkin, a partner at Dickstein Shapiro LLP, who represents Bernard Madoff, operator of the biggest Ponzi scheme in history, spoke to the Cardozo community at a Jacob Burns Ethics Center event, “Representing the Most Despised Client in the World.” Although barred by attorney client privilege from sharing private information, he was open to talking about ethical considerations and personal insights.
