November 16, 2007 -- Students Jennifer Vakiener, Parvin Aminolroaya, and Arlene Stevens swept the Regional Round of the National Moot Court Competition at the New York City Bar Association, advancing to the final round of  this  prestigious event.

These third-year students took all three of the top awards: 

Best Team -- Parvin Aminolroaya and Jen Vakiener

Best Brief -- Parvin Aminolroaya, Jen Vakiener, and Arlene Stevens

Best Oralist -- Jen Vakiener

They will compete in January against the winners of the other regional competitions at the New York City Bar Association.
