Alumni in Transition is an initiative of the Alumni Association and the Office of Career Services dedicated to assisting Cardozo graduates who are currently seeking employment or are considering future job or career changes.

Our mission is to offer information and resources to assist our alumni in their career transitions, job growth and professional development, using the expertise and resources of Cardozo’s career services professionals and seeking the help and advice of career counseling and human resources professionals outside the law school community. We will also call upon the collective wisdom, experience, resources and strengths of our diverse family of over 12,000 Cardozo grads.

Through a series of panels, informal sessions and the information exchanged on a dedicated list serve, we hope to address the skills and strategies necessary for a successful job transition and for determining and achieving your career goals and objectives. Topics include networking, resume preparation, interview skills, online job searching and financial planning for transition. We discuss traditional legal career and job alternatives, as well as the opportunities to use our law degrees in a non-legal work environment.

We invite you to join us on the transition journey by attending our panels and sharing your knowledge, experience, insights and job opportunities with your fellow alumni.
