In conjunction with its workshop series, CJL convenes a reading group approximately once every three weeks devoted to seminal works and debates in the field of secular jurisprudence. The theme for the 2007-2008 reading group, “Legal Pluralism,” focuses on the various types of ordering and accommodation between competing normative systems in both American and Jewish law.
