Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic represents clients and has successfully fought to change immigration policy in New York City. Other clinics represent elderly and disabled clients in civil cases, advocate claimants in cases referred by the New York Stock Market, and represent New York City indie film makers. Eighteen clincs allow students to transform lives in the pursuit of justice and gain practical lawyering skills.
Our partnerships with businesses, government agencies and public institutions put you at the center of New York's legal world. Field Clinics, such as the Health Care Reform Field Clinic, allow students to work in small groups with supervising attorneys at law offices around the city. Externships provide 250 students each year with work throughout New York City under the supervision of leaders in their fields. Rigorous hands-on experience, astute feedback and powerful connections will give you a real-world edge.
The Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP) and Intensive Mediation Advocacy Program (IMAP) are examples of simulation programs designed to force students out of their comfort zone.
