The Tax Clinic represents low-income taxpayers in audits, administrative appeals, United States Tax Court cases, offers in compromise, and other tax collection matters. This clinic gives students the opportunity to have primary responsibility in representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Dept. of Taxation and Finance, and in court. Simultaneously, students receive classroom instruction in federal tax practice and procedure.
