Bio

Robert Collins has taught divorce and family mediation and dispute resolution at various universities, including Hofstra, Seton Hall and Brooklyn Law. He holds a B.A. from Yale College, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Collins worked in private practice for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as well as Davidson, Dawson & Clark, and as an Assistant District Attorney for the New York County District Attorney’s office. He has taught dozens of courses on divorce and family mediation, and has been cited as among the pioneers of divorce mediation in New York.
