Wojciech Sadurski is the Challis Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Sydney; until August 2009, he was a professor of legal theory and philosophy of law at the European University Institute in Florence, where he was from 2003-06 head of the department of law. He is also a professor at the University of Warsaw, Center for Europe. Fluent in five languages, he has lectured on jurisprudence at universities around the world and is a prolific writer. His most recent book, Equality and Legitimacy, was published in 2008 by Oxford University Press. He currently holds positions on the editorial boards of Politics, Philosophy and Economics; European Law Review; and the Law and Philosophy Library, and sits on the boards of the Institute of Public Affairs, Poland; the Freedom of Press Observatory, Helsinki Foundation; Center for International Relations, Poland; and the Advisory Council of the European Centre for Minority Issues. This is his second visit to Cardozo.
