Professor Alex Stein’s new work, “Intellectual Property Defenses” (co-authored with Professor Gideon Parchomovsky from Penn Law School) was accepted for publication by Columbia Law Review. Another new article, “Evidence, Probability, and the Burden of Proof” (co-authored with Professor Ronald Allen from Northwestern University Law School) will be published in the fall by Arizona Law Review.

In addition, the American Law & Economics Association has selected Professor Stein's work, "Inefficient Evidence," for presentation at its 23rd annual meeting that will take place in May at Vanderbilt University. Professor Stein already presented this work at faculty seminars at Cardozo and Texas Schools of Law. He also was among the invited participants in a recent roundtable discussion of medical malpractice organized by Texas Law School.
