Professor Goodrich’s book Legal Emblems and the Art of Law: Obiter depicta as the Vision of Governance will be published by Cambridge University Press in September 2013. The book will appear in an Italian translation in 2014 with Mimesis editioni.

Professor Dieter Grimm, former Justice on the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany and Dean Robert Post of Yale Law School joined Professor Michel Rosenfeld, Dean Matthew Diller, and other scholars to celebrate the publication of The Oxford Handbook of Comparative Constitutional Law.

The book, co-edited by Professor Rosenfeld and András Sajó, is the first comprehensive reference in the field. It features contributions from leading scholars worldwide.

Professor Daniel Ravicher, executive director of the Public Patent Foundation (PubPat) at Cardozo Law, will argue in front of the Supreme Court against patenting of human genes. The landmark case against Myriad Genetics centers around two human genes associated with breast and ovarian cancer. Professor Ravicher will argue that patents on genes restrict research and medical advances.
