Intellectual Property Law

While law firms and businesses worldwide are adjusting their outlook and bottom lines to reflect the dramatic changes in the area of intellectual property law, Cardozo stands at the center of the dialogue. With a curriculum that offers basic and advanced courses in the three areas of this exciting study, four full-time faculty members and dozens of adjuncts who work in the field, and the foremost journal in the field, Cardozo's program is among the richest in the nation. Faculty are on the front lines in the areas of trademark, patent, and copyright as well as in the related fields of art and entertainment law, sports law, media and boradcast law, and the law of cyberspace.

Students benefit from dozens of conferences and panels, can participate on the Arts and Entertainment Law Journal, help organize the largest communications and entertainment moot court competition, and participate in externships and internships at nationally-known corporations in New York and beyond. More. . .
