A must-read is Adam Liptak's piece "Final Word in US Law Isn't: Supreme Court Keeps Editing" that appeared in the NY Times in late May. He writes about revisions made in SCOTUS opinions without public notice and the publication cycle of bench opinions, slip opinions, preliminary prints and official versions.

Because of a building-wide power shut down, the e-resources (like HeinOnline and JSTOR) that are accessed through BEN will not be available from 6 PM Friday until after 8 AM on Monday. The library (and building) will not be open on Sunday, June 1.

The law library begins its summer hours of operation on Sunday, May 18. Instead of closing at midnight, the library closes at 10 PM throughout the summer. The library (and building) will be closed on May 26, June 4 & 5, and July 4.

Studying with your group for finals? Pick up a "Room is in Use" sign from the Law Library's Circulation Desk in order to use a group study room on the 6th or 8th floors.
