Gossip v. Public Discourse
US citizens have a birthright to voice their opinions
and participate in political debates. According to Professor Weisberg,
the current vogue for gossip about and fascination with celebrities and
public figures has rendered us passive while degrading gossip as a genre.

DeGrazia & Ginsberg: A Remembrance
of Their Struggle Against Censorship
