Congratulations to Zachary Beal '16, who competed in the Jeffery Abrams Mediation Competition at the University of Houston Law School in Texas from October 24 to 25, 2014, advancing to the finals to receive second place in the competition. 

In this competition, 12 students served as mediators, being judged on their effectiveness as a mediator for the simultaneous representation in mediation competition for around 30 of the University of Houston's students.

October 2014 - Congratulations to the Cardozo School of Law team of Ren-How Harn '15, Brittany Harrison '15, and Chris Ilardi '15, who have been selected to compete in the National Rounds of the 4th Annual Intellectual Property LawMeet, and who won the best draft award of the competition, which was held at the University of Pennylvania School of Law.

The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Moot Court Honor Society (MCHS) conducted its annual training and development meeting with incoming 2L members from August 19 to 21, 2014 concluding with the annual Liza Suckle Memorial Moot Court Competition.

YU News - At the end of the fall 2012 semester, Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law students Matthew Kriegsman and Kenneth Renov noticed that a lot of their peers were dumping the extremely expensive textbooks they’d just purchased that summer in the trash because, once used, the books had little to no resale value.
