Cardozo Law hosted a symposium commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of the Pentagon Papers. The event examined national security and secrecy in the WikiLeaks era. The panel included Floyd Abrams, attorney at Cahill Gordon & Reindel; John B. Bellinger III, partner at Arnold & Porter; Leslie Gelb, President Emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations; Adam Liptak, Supreme Court correspondent for The New York Times; Michael Mukasey, former Attorney General of the United States; former Dean David Rudenstine; and Steven R. Shapiro, Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union. It was hosted by Jeffrey Brown, Senior Correspondent for PBS NewsHour.
