Each year, the Public Service Law Center and the Public Service Scholars at Cardozo Law honor those in our community who work to inspire us to advocate for social change. The 10th Annual INSPIRE! Awards on January 29, 2015, celebrated those in Cardozo Law's Immigration Justice Clinic faculty, and alumni who work to defend the rights of immigrants.

The Criminal Appeals Clinic registered another success when, on January 22, the Appellate Division reduced a client’s sentence from ten years to seven years.

Matthew Diller will leave his position as the dean of Cardozo School of Law at the end of the academic year in June 2015 to become the dean of Fordham Law School, where he spent 16 years as a professor and associate dean.
