Cardozo Youth Advocates provides hands on legal learning opportunities for local high school students. CYA currently visits a social justice class in Washington Irving High School in Union Square twice a week to lead interactive activities and small group discussions preparing students in debate strategy and mock trial procedures. At the end of each semester, Cardozo hosts Law Day where participating high school students are invited to the Moot Court Room for debate or to perform a mock trial in front of a faculty mediator. The experience is rewarding for everyone involved.
